Constitution is the oldest ship in the US Navy that is still commissioned. We had the great honor to be the FIRST band to EVER perform on the ship for the crew! The ship was first set to sea from the Boston harbor in 1797 and was in active duty until 1855. Also, this past October, President Obama named the shop the official Ship of State (that’s like the Bald Eagle… but a ship)!! This ship was seeerioously cool. Our buddy, Jacob, who is a sailor (not to be confused with Jacob our tour manager) is the one that made this whole thing happen; thank you thank you thank you, Jacob!! He took us all around the ship and gave us the VIP tour and Brandon got to fire a cannon. Seriously, he did. We are so honored to be asked aboard this historic ship and perform for the brave men and women that serve aboard to protect our freedom and fight for us. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for everything you do. We can’t wait to come back to Boston and hang out with you guys again!! If you’re in Boston you should go check out this ship, it’s open to the public.

The people of Boston are totally rad and such a GREAT audience! Thanks to everyone who came out to the show. We can’t wait to come back! Before the show we went across the street with all the GRO guys to a Vietnamese restaurant, Le’s, and it was amaaazing! I highly recommend to anyone in or coming through Boston.
