Tuesday, August 24th, 2010Fearless Radio is quickly becoming one of our favorite places to stop through when we’re in Chicago. The people there are so great and we always have a great time. Here are some photos from our June 30th appearance. You can listen to the interview HERE, and you should because we are reeeeeaaaalllyy funny. Make sure you go check out Fearless Radio’s site and tune into their shows. They rule. Aaaannndd they are located in an old historic building that is in the processes of being renovated. It’s way cool with a old freight elevator, factory style doors, and a finished out rooftop with a breathtaking view of downtown Chicago. Very cool.
Ps. We performed 2 songs on air and I took some video of it. Look for that in an upcoming post.
NEW SS Video, NEW SS ALBUM!! & Spring Tour 2010 in Full Effect
Monday, April 12th, 2010Friends, Romans, Countryman… We hope this finds you all enjoying the turn of the tides aka “Spring 2010” and the disappearance of that unfamiliar substance that you Northerners refer to as “snow?” Although we’ll miss hurling snowballs at the Green River Ordinance guys during load in, we’re so excited for everything below!
SLEEPERSTAR SPRING TOUR 2010
The tour starts April 17, 2010 at a Austin College in Sherman, Texas. We could talk about it, or you could just watch this BRAND NEW promo video that includes great footage captured by our beloved tour manager Jacob Combs on the previous GRO tour!
THE NEW SLEEPERSTAR FULL LENGTH RECORD IS HERE
Just Another Ghost (Sleeperstar’s new full length record) is actually finished! It was 15 months in the making, but we’re finally going to get it in your hands. Thank you for your patience! Seriously!! We pulled “fakey’s” a good 3 times along the way. Tentative iTunes release date is June 22, 2010 BUT as you’ll see below you will be able to buy an advanced physical copy at the CD release party in our hometown of Dallas, Texas!
SLEEPERSTAR HOMETOWN CD RELEASE SHOW/PARTY!!
We’re working out the details on the hometown CD release show in Dallas, TX. It’s more than likely going to take place on June 18, 2010 at the House Of Blues! Pencil that in on your calendar’s! There will probably be an Austin, TX “home away from home” release show as well!
SUMMER AND FALL TOUR IN THE MAKING
We’ve begun booking for Summer & Fall 2010! Our new booking agent is called Brian… he and his assistant Matt are spectacular at what they do! Massachusetts Countryside
Monday, February 15th, 2010After our amazing show in Boston we find ourselves with 2 days off; a rarity when touring. By God’s grace and the generosity of dear friends we find ourselves staying at a ridiculously nice house in the Massachusetts countryside surrounded by trees, snow, polo horses, stables, rolling hills, and peace; a welcomed change of pace from the tour van. It’s such a blessing to be a part of a community where selflessness and generosity are a way of life. Thank you Jeremiah and Ashley for being so gracious to us with your home.
