That’s right… Akron was so good to us that Jacob, our tour manager, decided to immortalize our visit with a tattoo. It’s a bad to the bone tattoo! And thus it is proven once again that Jacob is way more rock & roll than any member of the band. It’s been proven that Jake is without a doubt the dominant photographer in Sleeperstar, but nonetheless I thought I’d still try to contribute to the cause. I only wish any of my shots were an ounce as good as the dancefloor shot in his last post. I’ll get there… someday.
We’ve been in Ohio for a while and we all agree: Ohio is awesome! Here are a few shots from Akron the other day. It’s good to be back.

Friends, Romans, Countryman… We hope this finds you all enjoying the turn of the tides aka “Spring 2010” and the disappearance of that unfamiliar substance that you Northerners refer to as “snow?” Although we’ll miss hurling snowballs at the Green River Ordinance guys during load in, we’re so excited for everything below!
The tour starts April 17, 2010 at a Austin College in Sherman, Texas. We could talk about it, or you could just watch this BRAND NEW promo video that includes great footage captured by our beloved tour manager Jacob Combs on the previous GRO tour!
Just Another Ghost (Sleeperstar’s new full length record) is actually finished! It was 15 months in the making, but we’re finally going to get it in your hands. Thank you for your patience! Seriously!! We pulled “fakey’s” a good 3 times along the way. Tentative iTunes release date is June 22, 2010 BUT as you’ll see below you will be able to buy an advanced physical copy at the CD release party in our hometown of Dallas, Texas!
We’re working out the details on the hometown CD release show in Dallas, TX. It’s more than likely going to take place on June 18, 2010 at the House Of Blues! Pencil that in on your calendar’s! There will probably be an Austin, TX “home away from home” release show as well!
We’ve begun booking for Summer & Fall 2010! Our new booking agent is called Brian… he and his assistant Matt are spectacular at what they do!
