Columbuuuuss Ohhiiioooo! We love you! One of the coolest venues ever, The Basement, and one of the greatest crowds ever. Hands down. You’ll see in this post that the GRO boys played a little prank on us during Texas Rain and came out on stage in some costumes doing a little dance. Touche boys…touche. I also might have taken my camera on stage and taken a few photos from my perspective behind the drums! Enjoy!

[...] On February 20, 2010, I had the special opportunity to listen to them live when they opened for those good friends of theirs, Green River Ordinance, at the Basement in Columbus, Ohio. That sealed the deal. Onstage these magnificent musicians and completely dorky gentlemen gave every ounce of their energy and joy to their audience as they performed that sweeping, soaring music. They threw in plenty of “antics” along the way, reacting to members of GRO crashing their set in silly costumes and culminating in Chris’ trip over the crowd by way of the rafters.
