The traveling has begun! We left Dallas on Monday around 8:30pm and decided to cover as much ground as possible so we could make sure to have enough time to get safely through all the bad weather in the north east. So, after driving through the night non-stop we find ourselves, 24 hours later, somewhere in Roanoke, VA in the comfort of a hotel room. The weather has been gloomy and snowy but the countryside is absolutely beautiful. Here are a few images from today, starting at Denny’s for our FREE grand slam breakfasts!

Wow ya’ll were in Roanoke?? I’m from Roanoke and go to school at Virginia Tech (45 min from Roanoke). You guys should definitely either do a show in Roanoke or Blacksburg someday! I really want to go to your show in Vienna, but due to an 8am class the next morning, I can’t.

I forgot to go to Denny’s for my free grand-slam.
I understand they’ll hold onto it for me until my birthday, but that’s not til November.
Surely it will be inedible by that time.
Sad.
I’m thinking the IHOP chocolate chip waffles with a whipped cream smiley face might cheer me up.
